PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
Your door has been pre-finished with a baked on polyester paint system. To complete the finishing process, sponge wash the door with a mild powered detergent and warm water. Rinse and allow the door to dry before applying paint. Use a high quality exterior grade acrylic latex paint. Do not use an oil based/ alkyd paint. The paint can be applied with a roller; however, a superior finish will be obtained with an airless or HVLP spray gun. Prior to applying the paint, verify the paint manufacturer's painting instructions. Be careful not to get paint inside the tongue and groove edges. Failure to do so will result in the paint bonding the sections together, thus, making the door inoperable.
