LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

First United Door Technologies, LLC (1stUDT) warrants to the original purchaser of its products that any part thereof, which proves to be defective within THREE years of date of purchase, will be replaced to the distributor without charge. This warrant does not extend to normal wear, discoloration, fading or deterioration due to rust resulting from damage to the door section finish caused by fire, other accident or casualty, vandalism, radiation, animal wastes, excessive salts, harmful fumes or foreign substances in the atmosphere and/or Acts of Mother Nature. Fading and discolorization after one (1) year does not constitute as a factory defect. Nor shall the warranty extend as a result of any physical damage after the door has left the factory, or failure to provide reasonable, necessary and proper maintenance, or to cover any damages with respect to any products that in any way or degree have been altered, modified, processed, misused or improperly handled or installed.

First United Door Technologies, LLC warrants, to the original owner, the door section(s) for LIFETIME against the defects where splitting, cracking, peeling, or deterioration due to rusting through, from the original date of installation by persons authorized by 1stUDT. If, during this period, the door sections are found to be defective upon inspection by an authorized 1stUDT representative, 1stUDT will repair or replace, at its option, the defective section(s). This warranty covers the door sections only and does not apply to other parts of the garage door or operating hardware.

First United Door Technologies, LLC is not liable for consequential damages or the recovery of any other direct or indirect costs. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, representations, or covenants, express or implied, with respect to this product, as to any matter whatsoever, except for any "implied warranty" as that term is defined in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty-Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act, such implied warranties to be limited in duration to a period of one year from the date of purchase.This warranty gives individuals legal rights, although there may be other rights that can vary from state to state.

FIRST UNITED DOORTECHNOLOGIES, LLC WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM A DEFECTIVE DOOR SECTION, PARTS OR HARDWARE. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS

Your door has been pre-finished with a baked on polyester paint system.To complete the finishing process, sponge wash the door with a mild powered detergent and warm water. Rinse and allow the door to dry before applying paint. Use a high quality exterior grade acrylic latex paint. Do not use an oil based/ alkyd paint. The paint can be applied with a roller; however, a superior finish will be obtained with an airless or HVLP spray gun. Prior to applying the paint, verify the paint manufacturer's painting instructions. Be careful not to get paint inside the tongue and groove edges. Failure to do so will result in the paint bonding the sections together, thus, making the door inoperable.

This warranty is non-transferable.
